OPEN CROWN / CLEAR DIRECTION

Sun visors

Follow the brim.

An open crown makes the band, visor and rear adjustment the complete product. Compare four directions for sport and lifestyle collections: clean cotton, a textured terry band, a contrast edge and a wider brim.

Generated cotton sport visor design reference

One open shape. Four expressions.

The band, visor and rear adjustment do the work of the entire product. Review them together on a worn sample instead of approving the brim from a flat image alone.

01Generated cotton sport visor design reference

Cotton sport visor

A clean open-top concept for an understated sport or lifestyle range. Band fit, brim curve and the rear adjustment form the main design decisions.

02Generated terry-band visor design reference

Terry-band visor

A soft-textured interpretation of the open-top visor. Focus on the contrast between the tactile band and the cleaner visor surface.

03Generated contrast-edge visor design reference

Contrast-edge visor

An edge-led design that uses a narrow color contrast to frame the visor. The binding width and color balance matter as much as the main logo.

04Generated wide-brim visor design reference

Wide-brim visor

A lifestyle visor with a visibly broader brim. Define the intended projection and worn balance rather than treating width alone as the specification.

Material direction
Cotton canvas-look direction
Construction
Open crown / extended curved brim

Build around three contact points.

Does the band remain comfortable at the intended adjustment?

The band, inner contact surface and closure need to work together. Record the intended wearing position, review the band edge against the skin, and check whether adjusting the closure changes how the visor sits.

01

Against the skin

Brief the outer band, skin-contact surface and brim covering separately. A soft-looking textile does not establish absorbency or another performance property.

02

Across the brim

Review how the band sits above the ears, how it adjusts and whether the brim remains balanced when worn. Define the desired coverage with an actual reference.

03

Around the edge

Use the available band height to set the logo scale. Identify whether edge binding should contrast with the band or remain visually quiet.
